Little Klondyke's Little Festival.

I agreed a while ago to go take some photos at a charity event called Little Klondyke's Little Festival. It took place in Bootle, Liverpool on Monday 27th August. As it was a bank holiday it was pretty typical of the weather to be raining but they didn't let the weather put them off and carried out the days events as planned.

If you would like to find out more about the charity and what it is about or maybe get involved then you should check out their website www.littleklondyke.com or add their facebook page for updates on events etc www.facebook.com/littleklondyke

Results day!

So today I got my college results finally after a lot of messing about and I got a Distinction, Distinction, Merit. Made up! :) I needed a Distinction, Merit, Merit to get in to Chester University so it's all happy days and I start university at the end of September to study Photography&Graphic Design. I'm really excited for it! I'll probably get nervous nearer the time but for now I'm just looking forward to meeting new people in a new place and having some new projects to focus on and update you with too.

Happy Happy Happy!

Festival Gardens.

I went to see the Festival Gardens a couple of days ago while the weather was nice taking my nans dog and little cousin and was discovered it as a really nice place to take photographs! I didn't stay for long as the weather was too hot for the dog but had a quick look around and took a few snaps so intend to go back at some point soon so I can spend longer looking around and taking photographs. Was a pretty cool day out also :) So here are three photos I took which I really like so have added to my facebook page;

Photo restoration.

I love photoshop. It amazes me how much you can do with it and I really love experimenting on it/ trying out new tutorials. I particularly like being able to restore old photographs for people. I think it's a really rewarding thing to do as well when you see peoples reactions that you've been able to restore some of their memories. I know with a lot of people using digital cameras these days not many people seem to keep old battered photographs but for anyone who does I would gladly try and restore them! I've restored a few photographs before but the two I'm about to post are probably the most damaged and therefore have the most noticeable changes to them. Hopefully in time I will get a lot better at this with some practice and some new photos to practice on may help haha! So here they are...
